Hotel Brahmaputhra , East Nada | Next to Guruvayoor Temple

We visited as a family..my mother.husband and myself.We.wanted a room suitable for three adults.I made my reservation via the Make My Trip app.We expected a double bed and a single bed in the accommodation provided to us ,but there was only a double bed and we had to ask for an extra bed..this aspect was not specifically mentioned while we made our booking. We were disappointed that the app had not been transparent while making a deal. The room,the furnishings,the bathroom was all neat and clean.The facilities like TV,hot water,lift,mesh on windows etc were good. The parking space is limited, but as the staff take over the responsibility of moving the car in case of need mitigated that issue. The location of the property is absolutely Ideal for the temple visit...just 3 minutes walk. Though it doesn't have a restaurant,there are some commendable places very close.Vasantha Bhavan seems to offer good food Two points to bring to the notice of the authorities is the hanger for clothes in the bathroom-it is positioned in such a way that one has to squeeze between the washbasin and comode to get to it. A few hanging facilities behind the bathroom door would be helpful The wardrobe too in our room was dysfunctional. Overall it was a comfortable stay except for the fact we did not know that what we got was a double room suite with an extra bed...while we thought we had a room with a double and single bed ....

Great Stay at Brahmaputra Hotel The hotel is very near to Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple and has excellent room with budget rate. Even though the hotel is not having breakfast facility there are many good vegetarian restaurants next to the hotel with the best menu. The staff at the hotel were very supportive. LADIES PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE. ITS NOT SAFE. I, a mother was traveling with my little son for my friends marriage at guruvayur temple, my husband couldn't join us due to his work. I booked a room at this hotel since it was the holiday season and we couldn't find rooms in any other good hotels. We stayed here for 2 days. The second day we went out for breakfast and when we returned, I felt like someone had entered the room because it had cigarette smoke. I checked the bathroom and saw someone pissed in it. I got scared and went to the reception and complained. But the staff was so rude and they were talking vulgar and they asked are you saying they came and pissed in the room. This got me really sad and upset I requested to check the CCTV to see if someone entered the room because it was only like 40mins. But then they refused but seeing this other guests came to my rescue then the staff were asking like what if no one entered the room what will I do then. Later due to pressure from the people they agreed to show but said only their madam knows the password and is on the way. They made us wait for like 1hr and during this they deleted the video because we could see us leaving the room but there were no videos of us entering the room, it was showing as No Video. We registered a police complaint. Our taxi driver said this is not a lone incident but the lady that runs the hotel is really rude and speaks vulgar to everyone. He never recommends it to anyone. It was an old hotel which they did a minor renovation and added to an online booking site. I used goibibo for booking, they had promised me that they will delist this hotel from their site. Ladies please be careful.

Had booked the room for 2 days. Noticed the bathroom to have been used by someone after we went to visit the temple and the room was filled with cigarette smoke. Next day my brother came to the room earlier than the other family members and he took photos this time. On asking the receptionist, staffs and "MD" they are not agreeing to show the CCTV and when the culture less lady who is the present MD behaved very rudely while asking the same and there was another staff who was threatening to call the police. If you have that guts bring the police and prove your side madam.
